Hat in Three Stages of Landing is a sculpture by Claes Oldenburg placed in Sherwood Park at the center of Salinas. The sculpture depicts a cowboy throwing off his hat, with each hat representing a different stage of its landing. The sculpture is a tribute to farmers and ranchers and represents a Western hat tossed in the air from the nearby rodeo stands.
