Galle Fort Beach has the old fort wallson one side and a nice beach with shallow water on the other. It's not the best for swimming, but it's perfect for a sunset stroll.
Galway Beach is a long 3 and a half hour track from Gillespies Beach. There are often seals resting here, especially during winter.
Be careful, seals can be very aggressive. Don’t get close to seals and never stand between them and the sea.

There is a small beach on the south side of George Dog Island, an uninhabited island of the British Virgin Island. To get to the beach either enter from the east side or use the channel to the left of the beach. These are deep enough to access the beach.
