Wonderful story and presentation of how the beer is created.
Great tasting Guinness Pint as you view the city from the tower.
Some seating available to relax, but mostly standing areas available.
The place has a good look, live music and nice crowd. I tried the pale ale, red, session IPA AND double IPA. All were similar in that flavor wise they were bland with the double IPA being the best. I was anxious to try more but that's were things went silent. They only had one guy working the bar and they got backed up. 15 minutes later the guy cleaning glasses stepped in and they got caught up. I was at the end of the bar which they ignored. I eventually asked for my tab. The guy went back to serving people and forgot about me. The guy cleaning the glasses came to the rescue. I asked for my tab, got it paid and left. Lots of far better Brewers to choose from. I gave them 2 stars only because the place looked nice and they had music. I won't be going back.
Great, laid back, neighborhood bar vibe with a solid craft beer selection and good food. The pizza's are not a bad choice at all. I really enjoy this place.
High Dive is a San Diego neighborhood bar and restaurant. 20 local craft beers, Maker’s Mark and Ballast Point Fugu Vodka available all on draft. Busting out some really quality burgers too.
If you want to know where the locals go for a fun time, good drinks, and some delicious grub, this is it! Nothing says "Bay Park" like the High Dive. I personally love their burgers - big, juicy, and a reasonable price! Plus, when there's a game on, the High Dive is definitely the place to watch it!
An above average place to watch sporting events. Food is above aberage at 4 stars. This place is lowered to 3 stars as it does not brew it's own beer. Carries a medium size list of local breweries key beers, so choices in beer are moderate, but lacking in certain styles of brew.
