First time there. I sampled their stout, pilsner, 2 different IPA's and there double IPA. I was not thrilled with the pilsner but the others were excellent. The guy behind the bar was cool. Well worth visiting.
The place has a good look, live music and nice crowd. I tried the pale ale, red, session IPA AND double IPA. All were similar in that flavor wise they were bland with the double IPA being the best. I was anxious to try more but that's were things went silent. They only had one guy working the bar and they got backed up. 15 minutes later the guy cleaning glasses stepped in and they got caught up. I was at the end of the bar which they ignored. I eventually asked for my tab. The guy went back to serving people and forgot about me. The guy cleaning the glasses came to the rescue. I asked for my tab, got it paid and left. Lots of far better Brewers to choose from. I gave them 2 stars only because the place looked nice and they had music. I won't be going back.
One of my all time favorite breweries in SD. Cool, open space with tons of activities (two dart boards and shelves full of board games for the taking) make it an ideal place to spend an afternoon with a group of friends. No formal kitchen but they bring in a guy that makes some pretty mean street tacos at the back entrance. Did I mention the beer?!!
An above average place to watch sporting events. Food is above aberage at 4 stars. This place is lowered to 3 stars as it does not brew it's own beer. Carries a medium size list of local breweries key beers, so choices in beer are moderate, but lacking in certain styles of brew.
