Had a beer and a burger here this afternoon. Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. Good priced beer (then again i got happy hour prices). What held this place back was the stiff prices on food. $16 for a burger was a bit much. It was a nice place for lunch though! Will be back.
Went on a Saturday night and never waited for a beer or service despite it being pretty busy. Huge selection on tap, friendly and funny staff. In the back is a TV with a NES for rent at the bar. Bring on the two player drinking Mario bros!!!
We ate poi during the luau. The locals suggested we try it on the shreded pork. I was hesitant, but was pleasantly surprised. It had an herbal flavor, and went perfectly with the meat. I only wish i could find it on the mainland
It would be a mistake to pass without sampling one of Poilane's rustic apple tartlets - a splendid arrangement of golden pastry and juicy slices of apple.
Come early in the morning to sink your teeth into one while they are still warm, or to indulge in a seriously good pain au chocolat - an unforgettable breakfast that hides a large bar of quality dark chocolate in delicious light, buttery pastry. Source: Daily Life
