I’ve managed to visit this site a number of times over the past 25 years, and am pleased to see the improvements made, with more scheduled to come. It’s a fun, quirky attraction offering a nice place to have a picnic with the family.
One of the best preserved ghost towns in California. Easy to get there, with the last part being a dirt road. No need for AWD or 4x4. Be sure to get there early. Park closes at 3:00 pm!!
Beautiful park with lots of nature. It takes around 40mins motorbike ride to the Hill Station at the top and you can enjoy the great views on the way. I suggest going there in the morning before all the organised trips arrive which is around 10am.
