Kipahulu Visitor Center has cultural and natural history exhibits. Books, maps, and posters are offered for sale by the Hawaii Pacific Parks Association. Naturalists are on duty during business hours to answer questions and help you make the most of your visit.

Lakeshore Park Headquarters is located in the former Munising U.S. Coast Guard Station at Sand Point. In the summer, the boathouse is open with maritime displays including a 36-foot self-righting motor lifeboat. The Sand Point Marsh Trail is located nearby.
