Probably more important for the history behind the site than what you actually see if you visit today. Compared to the big UNESCO sites such as Angkor temples; pyramids of Egypt or the Taj in India for example - sorry it’s a bit underwhelming.
if you like urban exploration, it's still a pretty cool place. Joyland has NOT been completely demolished - a slide, the log ride, the roller coaster station, and other bridges, etc. await exploration. We killed a good 90 minutes just walking through the woods and some of the old shacks/buildings still there.
