Smash your goals and commit to the inevitable challenges! Acknowledgements to the Jinibara Traditional Owners & Native Title Owners of the Glass House Mountains. Beautiful Sacred & Spiritual place. Respect to anyone who has ever climbed this Mountain. I'm so proud to say I Summited and the views are just so spectacular and worth the trip. I also saw a familiar face along the way! What are the chances. #magicalday #feeltheburn #rippedmypants #respectnature 💜
Ensure you have sufficient water supply and high energy snacks. Also wear suitable foot wear with good grip and strong durable clothing. They suggest a helmet for falling rocks. (I didn't have one). Not suitable for those who are afraid of heights. Must be a moderate to advanced climber. Sit and slide for the descent. It's easier up than coming down. Take your time and allow lots of breathing space for daylight. The traditional Jinibara people do not want visitors to climb Mt Beerwah, however it's at your own risk. Please respect this is sacred land to them. Also ensure you tell someone you are going here if alone and take a phone in case you need to call emergency services. Enjoy this beautiful spiritual nature.
