Hidden Lake is a small water-filled cave peeking out from under a red sandstone cliff. It can be a fun side-trip for visitors to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary or Peek-A-Boo Canyon. The recreation site includes a small picnic area 200 feet from the cave.

Hidden Lake Trail (MP 1240) is a 1-mile trail through deciduous and lowland forest to Hidden Lake. An elevated, running plank boardwalk keeps visitors dry while hiking to the beautiful destination of Hidden Lake. It is a quiet, attractive undeveloped area with no facilities.
Hidden Passage Canyon is at Mile 56. It was named because the entrance to the canyon at the Colorado River was difficult to find. Some interesting places to explore.
The Hidden Valley trail is a short and fun trail with its natural tunnel and Fat Man's Pass. Fat Man's Pass is a rugged, narrow passage running between 2 large boulders.
The campground is a single loop above the scenic high Cascade Hideaway Lake. The campsites are tucked under a heavy canopy of mixed conifers, including douglas fir and hemlock. Rhododendron and ample spacing provide excellent privacy. A very attractive, tranquil campground. Recreation activities include non-motorized boating, and fishing.
