Lovely walk with plenty of benches to rest. The greenhouses are super fun. I did not get to walk the whole garden but the green houses had most of the flowers that were spread amongst the place anyways. Also very instagrammable!
The tours to visit the cave are reasonably priced, you get to boat into it and around. The guide tells you about the rock formations and shows the most interesting ones. Our boat was half empty, compared to other ones at the same time which was nice.
We had a tour of mangrove forest and the cave. There are some mannequins and paintings inside. Nothing too special, there are better things to do around Krabi.
I enjoyed the hike but I was prepared for the heat and carrying a lot of water. The mountain isn't too high, takes over 3h to come up but the sun gets tiring quickly so better leave as early as you can to avoid it, especially if you visit in hot season.
It's like a little maze, it would've been a bit difficult without a guide as you have to crawl in some spots and there are extra corridors. It isn't huge enough to actually get lost but when you loose track and imagination starts to work it might be a bit stressful in a dark cave!
There are many tours organised to visit the park but you can go on your own and I recommend that. There's a nature trail that is rather demanding, takes a few hours, no views though, but excellent excercise. The nature is primitive and original, human had not much to do in there.
My favorite hike in Ko Phangan! It's the longest path so you can spend whole day hiking. Natural surroundings, beautiful views. Bring a lot of water though!
Khao Ra Lookout is a 5.3 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Ko Pha-Ngan, Surat Thani, Thailand that features a great forest setting. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/thailand/surat-thani/khao-ra-lookout
If you have time go for a trip to the other side of Bangkok. You can see there a different way of life, crocodiles instead of dogs by the houses, fishermen, rural everyday life. You can spend there a few hours and watch around.
