Several sites available at the campground but difficult to reserve via recreation.gov. Reservation system makes it difficult to plan for extended trips. Camp Hosts were not available or not present during the entirety of our 7 day trip. The visitor center has limited times where a ranger is available to meet with campers. A ranger makes rounds in the morning after checkout time to see if people still remain beyond checkout. No enforcement of campground rules and nobody present to enforce violations or handle disturbances.

The most basic of visitor centers I’ve visited in all of the national parks. Ranger programs consist of a daily 20 minute talk at 1100 and then a 90 minute “guided” hike through the Hall of Mosses. There is an amphitheater for an evening program but it is not utilized.
