This is a great place to visit and learn history of the area. Hikes are amazing, lots of breathtaking views from rim and down in the canyons. Trails are rocky make sure you have good foot gear, a walking stick and lots of water.
wonderful place to camp. Not crowded, and many hikes right there. Some sites are extremely ‘unlevel’ , but most are not on top of one another.
Interestingly, it’s a 30 minute hike to the campground’s restaurant; pretty unusual in my experience.
