So Inspiring! Loved this place! Would go again!

We lived in Orlando at the time. I was in the hospital from dehydration thanks to a stomach virus, and my dad carried me out to the hospital parking lot to watch the nighttime launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour from Cape Canaveral. I distinctly remember seeing the solid rocket boosters separating and falling back to Earth. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see a shuttle launch before the program ended.

Great daytime tours, and nighttime telescope viewing

Locals protesting construction of another telescope have blocked the road to the top of Mauna Kea and the observatory.

I visited the museum, froze my rear-end off looking for them, and only managed to find them on the airplane home.
