Cruising Milford Sound is one of the best ways to see the area. Such a joy to sit back with a coffee or drink and enjoy the stunning beauty. We were lucky enough to go after a rain and the waterfalls were unbelievable.

My husband and I did the Milford Sound Track for his 50th birthday. We did it "independent" or "freedom" style - hut to hut. When we got there we found out there is also a "guided" option that goes lodge to lodge. Guess it just depends on what you are looking for. The independent trek was very challenging and a new way for us. But once you finish you realize just how great it was.

This site is an awesome place to visit either by bike or walking! It is peaceful and beautiful and in a sunny day is just perfect! Within a 50 min ride from rotterdam, is very accessible, absolutely suggested!
