We had a very relaxing ride through the center of the Park, unfortunately there is not much to see.
We did have a very friendly conductor sharing information and stories about the Park and at one point we saw an eagle’s nest with a bald eagle standing on a nearby branch.
Next visit we will bike the paths or kayak the river and use the train to transport us back to our starting point.
Awesome little side trip on our way to the bigger parks out west. Totally wasn’t expecting the “Ledges” awesome place to hike around and the kids loved crawling through the many little caves in rocks. Brandywine falls very nice as well, staff friendly and helpful. Make sure you stop at “trail mix” get a buckeye and stamp your book.
