I loved my day at the SD Zoo. However, I was deeply disappointed not to see the beautiful peacocks strutting about the park. They were the main reason I wanted to visit. The size of the Caracal’s enclosure seems small. I watched it for a while as it paced in circles. It would seem unfair to have animals which are in a stable position in their numbers to have such small enclosures, or honestly enclosures at all.

Very surprised that any extras were not part of the initial ticket cost and you had to pay more to experience certain things. Still, a great place to take the kids.

Love this place. So sad that they are getting rid of the orka show. Won't be the same without the whales :(

It was absolutely wonderful and has the best view of the city and the harbor.
