This highly rated luau is a hit with visitors and residents alike and includes a fresh flower lei greeting, Hawaiian entertainment and authentic Hawaiian food. The Ali'i Luau is arguably the most authentic luau in Hawaii and includes a pig ceremony where a large pua'a (Hawaiian for pig) is cooked in the imu and presented each day at the feast.
The Polynesian Cultural Center Ali’i Luau is located on the North Shore in the small town of Laie, about an hour’s drive from Waikiki. Luau packages can include various forms of round trip transportation from Waikiki and the “Ha: Breath of Life” show presenting the symbolic story of Mana and his beloved,a Pacific isle saga of birth and death, love and family, triumph and tragedy complete with Polynesian dance, music and blazing fire knives featuring over 100 Polynesian natives, special effects and animation and surround sound.
