Attend French Quarter Festival, New Orleans, Louisiana
The French Quarter Festival is a free, annual music festival held on the first full weekend in April in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. The first festival held in 1984 and now has local music played on 20 stages and ranging from jazz and gospel to funk and zydeco.
With an estimated attendance of over 732,000 in 2014, the festival bills itself as "The Largest Free Festival In the United States."
