Attend Galway Food Festival, Ireland
The Galway Food Festival takes place over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend each year. Enjoy 5 days of exceptional food and lots of free events for all the family in Ireland's favourite festival city.
The 2014 event will include an extended food village at Spanish Arch on the banks of the River Corrib; open-air markets at Galway Market, Woodquay Country Market and Moycullen Market; restaurant trails; food trails; cooking demonstrations and baking demonstrations; food tours to local artisan producers; foraging trips; food talks and debates; wine and beer tastings; food related crafts; lots of local produce; kids activities and family fun Over 100 restaurants, food outlets and food producers are expected to participate and most events will be free admission. All Galway Food Festival events will be family-friendly and many will have a strong Galway and West coast flavour.
