Attend Marrakech International Storytelling Festival, Marrakech, Moracco
This festival with open access to storytelling across Marrakech in public spaces, museums and monuments as well as cafes restaurants and riads. It is funded by the Moroccan Ministry of Culture to promote the art of storytelling locally and globally and foster collaboration between Moroccan and international storytelling artists.
It's held for a few days in January or February.
The Guinness World Record for continuous storytelling was made at the Marrakech International Storytelling Festival 2025 from January 21 – 24, 2025.
Founded by Mike and Lucie Wood and first hosted in 2021.
