In the lead-up to the 'race that stops the nation', the City of Melbourne gets in on the festivities each year by hosting the Melbourne Cup Parade. The parade is normally in Melbourne, Australia and starts at the intersection of Swanston St and Bourke St at 12pm and finishes at Federation Square at 2pm.
