Attend Passport DC, Washington, D.C.

Passport DC is a monthlong celebration in May comprising international programs and events around Washinton, D.C.. Visitors and residents have the opportunity to travel around the world without ever leaving the city with tours of more than 70 embassies and hundreds of other international cultural activities that include street festivals, performances and exhibitions. The Around the World Embassy Tour is the main event. All embassies are open from 10 am to 4 pm, unless otherwise noted. Admission is free. Reservations are not required. Many embassies require photo ID for admission. Complimentary shuttle bus service travels three separate loops from 10 am to 4 pm. All routes begin and end at Dupont Circle, between Massachusetts Ave. and P St., NW. Please note that the complimentary shuttle service ends at 4 pm and most embassies are open until 4 pm. Please plan accordingly and/or alternative methods of transportation back to your point of origin.
