Attend Cayman Islands Pirates Week Festival
Pirates Week is a 11-day pirate extravaganza held each November in the Cayman Islands. It typically attracts 35,000 visitors and includes fireworks, local song contest, a mock invasion where two old-fashioned sailboats packed with pirates make a surprise landing in the George Town harbor.
This is the best week to be in the Cayman Islands if you are looking to have fun and enjoy the revelry of the mystique of the Caribbean Swashbucklers! The island becomes a festive place for all who attend both locals and visitors alike, telling you what Pirates Week doesn't do it justice... you have to come and experience it for yourself... and don't forget your favourite Pirate or Wench costume!!!
