The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio annually inducts new members to recognize contributions to the world of Rock music in a number of categories including Performers, Songwriters and Producers along with those that blazed the Rock music trail and a special category for those members of the rock community that have spent their careers out of the spotlight so that others could shine. Each year a celebratory concert to honor the current roster of inductees is held in a famous venue selected for that year’s ceremony. Typically, a number of the current year inductees are invited to perform at the Induction Concert. At least every 3rd year, the Induction Concert is held in the home city of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland, Ohio. The site of each year’s ceremony is announced at the same time that the current roster of Inductees is presented to the public, usually in September of the preceding year. Tickets for the event are made available to the general public in December for the upcoming concert and induction in either March or April.
