Attend Sun Valley Film Festival, Idaho
Sun Valley, Idaho has been welcoming the film industry since Averell Harriman opened America's first ski resort in 1936. The new Sun Valley Film Festival brings Sun Valley's rich cinematic tradition into the 21st century by welcoming cutting-edge independent films, parties, premieres, exciting children's programming and previews of new television and web series. And of course there will be après ski gatherings.
The festival also features a variety of unique awards, such as the One in a Million Award for best film produced for under a million dollar budget and the Zions Bank Gem State Award, given to an Idaho filmmaker whose film best reflects the beauty and diversity of The Gem State.
The inaugural Sun Valley Film Festival was launched in March 2012.
