Attend PGA Championship
The Professional Golfer’s Association (PGA) stages its annual tournament four weeks after The (British) Open and is the 4th and final tournament each year of the 4 Major tournaments. ThePGA Championshipis limited to qualified professional golfers and is unique in that it is open to “club” pros that qualify by placing high enough in series of qualifying tournaments. The courses selected for the competition are among the best the United States has to offer and the location is scheduled 5 to 6 years in advance, making the planning process that much easier should you add attendance at this prestigious event to your bucket list.
The PGA Championship has been contested since 1916 and the victor is presented with the Wannamaker Trophy signifying his career fulfilling achievement. Typically held in mid-August the PGA Championship offers a week’s worth of dream fulfilling activities in and around the chosen venue. Taking in a practice round in addition to the action packed 4 day tournament or even working on your own game with some of the teaching demonstrations and other programs that are a part of this exhibition could be the fulfillment of your golfing dream.
