The U.S. Open is the 4th and final tournament that comprises Professional Tennis’ Grand Slam is held each year over a 2 week period that coincides with Labor Day in the United States. The championship tournament is held in Queens, New York at the world famous Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on hard courts. The best men and lady professionals and amateurs gather to determine the U.S. Open Champion in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. The tournament is open to all tennis players through a series of qualifying tournaments staged throughout the USA leading up to the tournament itself.
