Over Labor Day Weekend, San Diego hosts The U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge and 3D Art Exposition, as masters from around the world come to craft amazing 3D creations. Some 300 tons of sand get dropped onto the city's B Street cruise terminal pier, and live music, sand boxes and rides for kids, food trucks and tall ships add to the fun.
