Attend Winter X Games
Extreme Sports enthusiasts anxiously await the annual winter carnival known as the “Winter X Games”. These tests of skill and creativity are currently staged in Aspen, Colorado, U.S.A. and Tignes, France each year with additional locations and dates to be announced beginning in 2013. The competition includes skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling contests and a celebratory festival that runs concurrently with the event provides venues for music, interactive exhibitions and an opportunity to meet the international extreme sports stars. Crossover Winter Olympic athletes are typically among the participants competing for the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, along with the awarded cash prizes.
If your dreams include watching your extreme sports heroes grabbing big air in front of an enthusiastic crowd then a trip to take in the Winter X Games is a mandatory addition to your bucket list. The events are broadcast live around the world but watching on television is nothing like being “there”.
