Attend Waimea Town Celebration, Kauai, Hawaii
Waimea Town Celebration is an annual party on Kauai's west side that celebrates the Hawaiian and multiethnic history of the town where Captain Cook first landed. The weekend celebration includes top Hawaiian entertainers, a Hawaiian rodeo, canoe and stand up paddle races, a film festival, softball and 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, a fun run (10K, 5K, 2K), hat lei and ʻukulele contests, cultural exhibits and lots of food.
