This sprawling biosphere in the Yucatan is a bird-watcher’s heaven and home to more than 300 types of birds but is equally teeming with wild animals and tropical flora.
Hundreds of species of birds migrate to the Yucatan jungles and wetlands in winter and just the Sian Ka’an reserve itself is estimated to host at least a million migratory birds.
Amultitude of tropical birds such as the Roseate Spoonbill, Boat-billed Heron, Frigate, Osprey, White Ibis, Tri-colored Heron.
