There are usually continuous lines out the door and down the block on Saturdays and Sundays. The lines usually taper off after 1 PM. Recipes demand only the very finest of ingredients, such as pure butter and whipping cream, fresh grade AA eggs, hard wheat unbleached flour, and own recipe sourdough starter. Batters and sauces are made fresh in each restaurant’s kitchen. Signature items include the Apple Pancake and the Dutch Baby. Their unique omelettes are rolled in a skillet and then oven baked to give you a splendidly light, moist delicacy.
