The Bicentennial Campground is the most accessible campground in Golden Gate, approximately 100 yards from the parking area near Battery Wallace. There are three sites, each of which can accommodate up to three people with one tent. Water is available at the Visitor Center approximately one mile away. BBQ grills are available at the camp sites, and campers may also use the BBQ grills in the nearby Battery Wallace picnic area. Maximum stay is three nights per year. There is no water available for drinking or cleaning. No fires allowed in the campground; gas camp stoves are permitted. No pets allowed.
Fee site - beginning March 11, 2018. Reservations can be made up to two months in advance starting January 11, 2018. To reserve a site please call 1-877-444-6777, or reserve online at Recreation.gov.To reserve a camping site up to January 31, 2018, please call (415) 331-1540, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
