Camp at Cadderlie Bothy, Loch Etive, Southwest Highlands
Cadderlie Bothy is located at an idyllic place on Loch Etive.
Scottish bothies are shelters dotted around the Scotland's countryside which are left unlocked used as temporary dwellings by herders, gamekeepers and adventurers for centuries. Thye are a hut or small cottage maintained by the volunteer-led Mountain Bothies Association (MBA) and usually equipped with a wood burner and raised platforms for sleeping. Even better staying in one is often entirely free.
Starting point is Bonawe, Oban.
