Camp at Djúpidalur, Westfjords, Iceland

Djúpidalur has a swimming pool, huts and houses. Djúpidalur is a family run sheep farm and farm stay. The hot water in Djúpidalur is geothermal, so there is abundance of both hot and cold water. The area for tents is covered with grass. The area for campers has gravel bedding and artificial grass. There are outlets for electricity at the campsite. A facility house with WC, showers and outdoor skinks is located next to the campground. Small electronics can be charged in a locked cabinet in beside the bathroom.The huts have a single bed, doble lower bunk and a single top bunk (maximum 4 person per hut). The huts have a table and chares and are heated. WC, showers and sinks are shared with the campground and are located close by the huts. The swimming pool is indoors. Just outside of the pool house there is a hot tub. Children must be accompanied by an adult to enter the pool. Going swimming alone is not advised.
