Camp at Four Jeffrey Campground, Bishop, California
A large campground, 106 campsites, along the South Fork of Bishop Creek, this popular campground is usually open for fishing opener (last weekend on April). Some sites have shade and some are in the open. A portion of the campground is available for reservation. Bear proof food storage containers available in the campground.
Dogs on leash only. Maximum stay 14 days. Active bear area. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36"). Always keep a clean camp and do not feed wildlife.
From Bishop go west on State Route 168 (Line St) approximately 16 miles. Turn left at the junction of the South Lake Road (head south towards South Lake) and proceed one mile to the campground on the left.
Closed during the winter.
