The Havasupai campground is reached by hiling (or mule ride) 10 miles (16 km) from Hualapai Hilltop. The campsites are located within a 5-minute walk of the beautiful 100-foot Havasu Falls, about 2 miles downhill from the Village of Supai. Sites are available on a first come, first served basis. It serves up to 250 people. Drinking water is available. At this time, campground reservations are only taken by phone: (928) 448-2121.
Havasupai camping permits often sell out for the entire season within the first 2 or 3 months of the year.
Costs:
Camping permit – $17 per person, per night plus 10% tax.
Environmental fee – $5.00 per person plus 10% tax.
Entrance fee – $35 per person as well plus 10% tax.
