Situated on a cliff on the west side of Lake Mead, this no-frills campground is best for tent campers. The campground does not have direct access to the lake--it’s about a mile and a half away. But, the marina does have a small store, restaurant, and a bar.
How to Get There:
From Las Vegas, take I-15 South, exit on I-215 East. I-215 East will turn into Lake Mead Drive. Stay on Lake Mead Drive until you enter the National Recreation Area. After you pass the entrance station, take the very first left towards Las Vegas Bay Campground.

Boat ramp may be unusable due to drought
