Camp at Savage River Campground, Denali National Park
Located at Mile 13 of the Denali Park Road, Savage River Campground is smaller in size and more remote than Riley Creek Campground. Thirty-three sites for RVs and tents provide easy access to great hiking and views of the Outer and Alaska Ranges – including Denali when it is visible. Transit buses into the park can be reserved to pick you up at this campground, saving you a trip back to the Denali Bus Depot. As this campground is more remote, please make sure you have everything you need with you to enjoy your stay. Savage River Campground lies outside the restricted area of the Denali Park Road so visitors are able to return to the park entrance area during their stay.
