Run by the National Park Service, this campground is most popular with RV campers, as it provides hookups, but does not have its own onsite showers. This the only campground on Lake Mead that is on the Arizona side of the lake, and it is fairly remote. Fishing for bass, rainbow trout, catfish, crappie, and bluegill is popular at Temple Bar, along with other activities like boating, kayaking, and canoeing. There is a full-service marina on-site, with a store, gas, and activity rentals.
How to Get There:
From Phoenix, take I-17 north, and then I-40 west to Kingman. Take Highway 93 north out of Kingman. Make a right at the Temple Bar exit just past mile marker 20. Temple Bar is located 28 miles from Highway 93 turnoff.
