This secluded camping spot is set behind Blowsand Hill along the rocky slopes of Borrego Mountain. As such, it is a prime location for viewing large chuckwalla lizards. While it is now a popular camp, it was also a film site for movies, such as the recent “Into The Wild” and the older “The Desert Rats” about WWII in North Africa.
