Camp at Crystal Springs Campground, Kings Canyon National Park, California

Crystal Springs Campground is in the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park, 4 miles (6 km) from the park entrance on Hwy 180. The campground lies under open stands of evergreen trees at an elevation of 6,500 ft (1,980 m). It is a 15-minute drive from the main entrance to Kings Canyon National Park, 5 minutes from the General Grant sequoia grove, and an hour from the Giant Forest area. This campground has 36 individual sites and 14 mid-size group (7-15 people) sites. Reservations are recommended for group sites, but individual sites are first-come, first-served (no reservations available). Individual sites are $18 per night and group sites $40 per night. Camping is open to tents, RVs, and trailers from early spring through late fall. In 2017, it is open from noon on May 24 to noon on September 6.
