Canyoneer Constrychnine Slot Canyon, Utah

Constrychnine is a great, short canyon on the south side of Poison Spring Canyon. Constrychnine is spectacular, with unique rock formations, and dark narrows. The rappels, including a 180+ foot rappel are outstanding! There are three mandatory rappels and one optional rappel, which could be downclimbed. From the wash drop down the first 50' into the canyon proper, going 100' before you hit the first rappel. It's a long one off a deadman's and spends the entire summer baking. Plan to bring a significant amount of webbing to potentially replace anchors. The next rappel is also off a deadman or a tree about 20-30' back from the canyon edge, once again, it get's full sun so expect to have to replace webbing. From Utah 95 turn off on North Turkey Knob Road (BLM 15210) and go about 6 miles. Then hiking to slot canyon. Also it's possible to acces it from Poison Springs Wash Rd.
