Cliff Jump & Swim at Devil's Hole in Deep Creek, California
Devil's Hole is located on Deep Creek along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) near Lake Arrowhead, California. The trail that decends down to the river is anlong the northern route of PCT at 0.65 miles from Splinters Cabin parking lot. The trail down to the river is very steep and not dog friendly but possible to take a dog, but might have to carry in a few sections.
Parking at the trailhead requires an Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass. You can get this at Lake Arrowhead Visitor Information Center or local store.
Access Deep Creek from Splinters Cabin near Lake Arrowhead. From Lake Arrowhead travel North on State Highway 173 and turn right (East) on Hook Creek Road. At the end of Hook Creek Road, follow Forest Road 2N26Y to Forest Service Road 3N34C, and turn right, follow this road to the picnic area.
Note: the Forest Service road is a single lane and a portion of the road is dirt, exercise caution in blind corners.
