Dine and Drink Beer at Karl Strauss Brewery Gardens (Sorrento Mesa), San Diego, California
Karl Strauss’ historic Sorrento Mesa location is one of the oldest locations in the brewery’s expansive San Diego domain. Since 1994, this R&D nanobrewery has been producing the same flavor-packed craft brews as its venerable namesake, consistently delighting customers with favorites like the Karl Strauss Amber, Tower 20 IPA and Red Trolley Ale.
The inviting ambiance creates a modern urban loft feel with reclaimed wood, exposed stainless steel, and raw concrete incorporated throughout the bar and dining areas. Expansive wall-to-wall roll-up garage doors bring plenty of sunshine in as guests enjoy a bite and a brew, or patrons can take a step outside on the brewery’s deck to enjoy views of the brewery’s lush gardens and koi pond with a beer in hand.
Karl Strauss is open Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
