Dine at Asitane Restaurant, Istanbul, Turkey
Asitane Restaurant is tucked behind the Kariye Museum in a secluded, heavily shaded courtyard.
Asitane features fine Ottoman cuisine and its menu comprises only dishes featured in the kitchens of the royal palaces during the Ottoman Empire. Dishes are from recipes of what Sultans enjoyed in their palace between 1300-1900, it's therefore lavish in its taste and uses rare combinations of ingredients not found in usual Turkish food.
