Kayak, Snorkel or Dive with Leopard Sharks off La Jolla Shores, California
During the summer in San Diego, California it is possible to find huge schools of leopard sharks off the La Jolla Shores beach in the late afternoon when the water is the warmest. The sharks in the La Jolla waters are 97 percent female and they all are pregnant. One of the best spots in San Diego is in the waters near The Marine Room restaurant, off La Jolla Shores.
The best time of year to see the leopard sharks is between late June and early December, with the peak being August and September.
