ICEBAR Stockholm by ICEHOTEL is the world’s first permanent icebar. The interior is carved out of 40 tons of natural ice from the Torne River by ice sculptors from ICEHOTEL. ICEBAR has been a popular attraction in Stockholm since the opening in 2002 and attracts both tourists and locals who want a slice of the Arctic North in downtown Stockholm.ICEBAR is centrally located inside Hotel C Stockholm. ICEBAR Stockholm is made of ice - and so is the glass that your drink is served in. The bar has has a constant temperature of -5°C (23°F) and room for up to 60 people. Your entry fee includes a drink from our menu and a 45 minute visit. Children are welcome, and are served a colorful non-alcoholic drink. All visitors borrow an ice cape and a pair of gloves to keep themselves warm and to protect the ice from their body heat. This is not just a drink in a bar in central Stockholm – it’s a slice of northern Sweden’s polar magic and a totally unique experience. You are greeted with cool crisp air, a beautiful and unique interior, artistic design and a memory for life.
