Drink Beer at Ballast Point Brewing Company (Little Italy), San Diego, California
In September 2013, Ballast Point Brewery’s tremendous popularity and growth in San Diego enabled owners Jack White, Jim Buechler, Yuseff Cherney and Pete A’Hearn to expand their operation to a third location – a brewery, tasting room and restaurant in Little Italy.
Staying true to Ballast Point’s signature adventurous spirit, innovative brewing techniques, and outstandingly original style, its Little Italy location also experiments with new recipes and challenges the norm with its flavorful concoctions. The brewery and tasting room houses an expanded barreling and sours program, giving tasting room patrons the option to shake up their regular beer routine with an unexpected twist. To accompany the creatively crafted brews, the kitchen’s play on its gourmet fare is inspired by the same wild imagination and upheld to the same quality standards that the brewery infuses into its craft brews.
Tasting room hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
